ABOUT: I am passionate about exploring the interface between abstractions and physical objects through algorithm design. I believe that technology development is an essentially social process, and love working with diverse teams to create solutions to difficult and novel problems.

During the day I work full time as a software engineer at Bellhops, a fast-growing platform based moving service. There, I design and implement algorithms that help manage a large, distributed, work-when-you-want workforce.

During the nights and mornings, I create (and publish) motion planning algorithms for Fused Filament Fabrication machines that allow increased freedom of motion and lower print times than the current layer-by-layer method.

Through a combination of both research and engineering experience, I am able to work at all levels of a problem from ideation and creation of theory right down to the low-level implementation details.
